We carry a broad range of certified organic products. Certified raw materials from abroad must, at the very least, meet the guidelines of the EU regulation on organic farming. Organic farmers work in harmony with nature, its rhythms, cycles and principles. They attach just as much importance to the welfare of humans, animals and plants as they do to fertile soils, biodiversity and sparing use of water. They make sure that the ecosystem remains intact, for example by protecting plants from parasites by means of beneficial insects such as ladybirds. Chemically synthesized fertilizers and pesticides are prohibited in organic farming.
Many certified organic products from risk countries are also certified by Fairtrade Max Havelaar.
